First, I can't believe there is actually 2 pages dedicated to this question, but since we're here.

Given that I'm counting the days til retirement, I like the acronym that came from a movie a few years ago.

RED....Retired Extremely Dangerous.

My dad was a ROMEO. Retired Old Men Eating Out. He met with his retired buds once a week at The Curly Que bbq joint to eat everything they weren’t supposed to.
 
These acronyms provide flexibility. When I received letters from his high school's dean in charge of academic affairs that he had again
skipped a class, it stood for Dwarf Star. When I got a late night call from the police about an incident involving toilet paper and eggs, it clearly meant Demon Seed. When he received his commission, it was revised to Distinguished Scion.
