The same thing happened to my daughter. Now that it's closed and received by DoDMERB, Dodmets will probably tell you to talk to them. Call or email them for sure, but POSSIBLY, there may be nothing you need to do. Below is a response I posted on a different thread pertaining to my daughters experience...
Background...My daughter's exams were early-mid September. She had some back and forth with Dodmets on a few things and on 9/30 her status in Dodmets was "Complete". We waited all through October and into November and finally on Nov 11 her status in Dodmets changed to "Incomplete-Closed" and received by DoDMERB. We were like What??? It's been complete for a month and a half and now it's incomplete??
Assuming Dodmets would know why it's incomplete, she emailed her case manager at Dodmets (who had up to that point been very responsive) and got nothing. She then emailed dodmets help and received a response after a couple days that she needed to contact DodMERB directly. She emailed DodMERB asking about the incomplete-closed status and what she needed to do....days and days went by with nothing. In the meantime she received a DodMERB conditional appointment to the USCGA. Then out of nowhere a couple days after that, she finally got a response to her DoDMERB email that her medical exam was reviewed and she is qualified! Two days after that, it was received by USCGA and BAM! Full Appointment!
Moral of the story, the status you see may or may not mean anything! Regardless, it's very stressful!!
Best of luck on a speedy resolution!
