Eczema Waiver Granted ~ What are my chances?

I was medically disqualified for a history of eczema on 11/29 by DoDMERB and was waived by USNA on 12/10. This is exciting because I do not have an LOA and the pharmacy records I submitted to DoDMERB included prescriptions from only 2 years ago to treat eczema which initially led me to believe that USNA would not pursue a waiver for me. It is also my understanding from previous threads here that USNA doesn't grant many waivers for eczema.
I received the waiver before I formally submitted my application ( I had 2 noms + everything completed aside from my essay), and I believe my waiver was processed and approved rather quickly considering the disqualification.

Is it safe to assume that this means I have a pretty good chance of receiving an appointment? I know that having a waiver just means that USNA views me as competitive and that getting a waiver doesn't guarantee an appointment but based on my circumstances and timeline of the waiver, I'm starting to feel a bit more hopeful...

Thanks for any responses!

It's a risky assumption to make as you don't know how severely they considered the DQ condition and thus the level of pull your file had to get them to grant the waiver. I would look towards the positive is all I would say right now.

Until you receive an offer of appointment, proceed to work alternate back up plans. Dont make assumptions or inferences. What you have is a waiver, which qualifies you medically. Only part of the required pieces of the application.

The only thing I would read into it is that they probably think enough of you to keep you in the mix. Which is a good thing. Just don't make a leap from A to Z from that.
