Enrollment Allocations are out...

They will always speak in generalizations because they can not know what will come down for next yr regarding AFSC or SFT. They can only say, if you fill this or that, than your chances are XYZ.

Overall, the % vary yr to yr, because the class make up varies. I would say for our DS's det, we asked the question about AFSC 3 yrs ago and the answer was 95% for that field. It has remained true, this yr the 300's had a 95% chance....only one didn't get it and it was a medical issue.

SFT is where you should be concerning yourself because to get to AFSC, you have to become a POC, and the only way to do that is to get SFT.

Ask what the % of SFT was for the past 3 yrs. Reason why is that every yr it has been dropping, if they have maintained the same % that speaks volumes of the det. If it has dropped, look back at 3 yrs ago because it is expected AFROTC will now be swinging up (pendulum). Thus, in a few yrs it will hopefully be back at that %.

Rule of thumb.
PFA 96 min
CGPA 3.2 tech, + for non tech
Det jobs/rank within the det (top 10%,25%, 50%)
ECs

You should be standing strong for SFT.

Continue that and add in:
SFT ranking
AFOQT scores
TBAS (rated) scores

You should be fine.

That SFT rank is added into your OML, so don't go there thinking WOOHOO I made it, nope, you now have to prove yourself again, and this time it is for your career.
