There's usually more to an academic disqualification than a single SAT score, although 1200 isn't very competitive. On the plus side, the reason Prep School exists is to academically prepare candidates they think have potential. Most of these slots got to academically disqualified folks. So if the rest of your application is strong there is still some hope.Apparently I’m academically disqualified with a 1200 SAT.
I'm sure you learned alot more than you think about applications, interviewing, life goals, fairness. Time well-spent. You will use all these skills down the road. Find a way to become an Army Officer! Get people on the phone. Send emails. Don't stop until you reach your goal.Crazy all of the time just wasted
Crazy all of the time just wasted.. I could’ve been so much more productive if I would of known that I was disqualified back in July. I could apply ED to schools and complete college applications much much earlier than I did.
Thank you for your perspective. There are multiple paths that lead to service as an officer in the USA, there is not an absolute "right" path for everyone and the big challenge for most applicants is to determine which path is the best fit for them.went AROTC scholarship route & I’m lovin it. Honestly I think I prefer this route much more than USMA. May be biased, but not really. Most of my peers feel the same way.
How was your math and english balanced? 600 600? 700 500?Apparently I’m academically disqualified with a 1200 SAT.
