graduation week

Congratulations to all the new officers! It's been cool reading things on here and seeing some of the pictures my friends have posted on Facebook today .

Christcorp,

Congratulations to you and your son. It has been great meeting you at Thudgate, and learning so much from you on the forum.

Congratulations Christcorp to you and your DS. Thank you for all the words of wisdom and advice you give us on this forum. We have all benefited. I had the opportunity to be out at the Academy from Monday through Thursday. It was fantastic seeing the parades, the graduates and their families arriving for Commissioning, and the Graduation. My oldest son and I spent a few days with my son who is now a C1C. One more year to go. Hopefully we can get to meet you if you at Thudgate at one of the football games this year.

Thank you and congratulations again.

Thank u all for the kind words. Yes, I still keep season tickets to the football games, so i'll see u at thudgate if u come. And all of my applicants get my business card which I also put on this forum's website address, so u will still have to put up with me. Lol. Thanks again. Mike.

Many heartfelt congratulations (and a few tears) to CC and his fantastic son, and to all the new 2nd Lts and their parents!

Graduation! There simply wasn't enough tissue in the world to contain those tears of joy! But mine were pretty much over by the time we reached graduation day... Commissioning - oh - another story altogether.

So so so proud of all these terrific young people.

And thank you to President Obama for shaking the hand of every graduate!

fencer,

I was the same way, graduation there were no tears, but commissioning I could feel my body start to shudder as I was trying to hold back the tears, the tears finally won over the body shuddering.
