Superintendant job announcement is now out and open until 5 July. Hope to have a great applicant pool from which to select!
 
The announcement only lists two qualifications beyond the standard SES quals. This should allow for a very broad range of candidates.
  • Extensive senior-level management experience leading a maritime, sea command/service, or large and complex government organization.
  • Leadership experience in an academic or other closely-related environment which demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of USMMA stakeholders.

Yeah, I was reading through it this morning. Got an email in my inbox. . . Doesn't pay enough for the headaches and having to live on Long Island. . . .
