How about those mids?

We were fortunate to attend! Our first game and what an amazing time from start to finish.

I gave up at 21 - 9. Seemed like Navy was trading AF field goals for Navy touchdowns and I figured Navy had it in the bag.

I was thinking it was over for the Mids after AF scored the touch down but DW never gave up. So glad we watch to the end. Seeing the charged up Brigade as Navy marched down the field was exhilarating. Great Win Navy while Army picks up another loss to Tulane.

That was a freaking awesome game, and when they won it in that fashion???? Amazing, and when the mids rushed the field.......major goose bumps.

No intra Service Academy game is over until its over.. Gotta hand it to the team yesterday,..they stuck with it and persevered when I had all but given up. That's the mark of a good team, and good coaching. I don't know what happened last year, but this was more characteristic of Navy Football. BZ Navy !

As an aside, perhaps someone who was at the game can provide better insight, but I was wholly unimpressed by what I saw in the way of spirit by the Brigade during the 2d most important game of the season. Where were the Plebes doing pushups with each score ?

They did their plush ups behind the end zone. Usual spot. But agree that the Brigade didn’t seem wholly into it from start to finish.

We sit across from the Mids and Saw
and felt what was an outstanding display of spirit from start to finish!
Ending with the Mids rushing the field and singing 2nd, #GoNavyBeat Army and being that CIC trophy back to the yard in 2019!

As it turns out, Navy does know about Pop Warner's forward pass. Will wonders never cease?
I did not see the game - but I watched the highlights - as there were many.

Thanks for posting. We were at the game and I was impressed with the spirit and stamina of the Mids. The entire stadium had a great feel.

Anyone have the gouge on whether the USNA is going to have to pay a fine for storming the field on Saturday? Rumor is the fine is $25K and only the Plebes are being made to pay.

Have never heard or such a thing? Is this some silly NCAA BS ?

If there is such a fine, I am sure NAAA would pay ...not the Plebes. (I think the entire Brigade was on the field !). If they try to tag the Plebes, I'll contribute to the GO FUND ME!

If NCAA fines that would just be tacky. But it would work out to about 6.00 per mid, I am in to contribute!

This is an NCAA rule for both football and basketball, but every conference handles it differently.

It certainly looked like the entire Brigade cleared the stands. I'm so glad they did, and they'll all have that memory forever. DS Plebe is not pleased with the rumor about the fine. I said we'd gladly throw $25 into his account to cover it if it gets handed down. Fining only the Plebes seems ridiculous, especially since DS was running next to the Commandant part of the way to the far endzone!!

Auburn got hit with a $250,000 fine in 2017. 3rd offense. ouch
