How To Go About Collecting Paperwork for NROTC-MO Scholarship?

Hi everybody,

I'm a high school junior who started his USNA and NROTC-MO Scholarship applications on April 1st. Pertaining to the NROTC-MO scholarship, I was wondering how to go about filling out the additional paperwork required besides the primary NETFOCUS part of the application, such as the teacher evals, Drug Statement, Physician's form, etc.

I contacted my assigned coordinator, and he sent me a "package builder" with the forms attached. He also assigned me to a local recruiter, who told me that he would be helping me with the process. Would it be possible for me to go about the application process myself, without the assistance of the local recruiter? I ask because he seems more interested with signing me up for the reserves and DEP than helping me with my application. Thanks to the many warnings that I have read from contributors on these forums, my father and I did not take the bait, although the local recruiter is still doing his best to tell me that joining would show "commitment," and that it would look bad on my interview, which I highly doubt.

If it is possible to tread the road alone, how would I go about doing this? I assume that I would not have very much help from my coordinator, as the local recruiter told me that the coordinator is too busy to help me. Any advice on these matters would be greatly appreciated, as well as any other advice relating to the scholarship: interview questions, PFT tips, etc. I have cherished an ambition to be an officer in the Marine Corps since childhood, and I will work as hard as possible to make this dream a reality.

I also forgot to ask: are the forms that he sent in the "package builder" acceptable for me to use, meaning, can I print them out and complete them as appropriate, or would I need to find the forms elsewhere? Thank you.
