Humor for my Navy and Marine friends

I know the Marines have more towers that look like that, I guess, but this one looks like Poggemeyer range at Lejeune.

Other than when Navy Medicine had PAs as warrants and the year or two we experimented with associate degreed nurses, I saw very few CWOs in 26 years. The MPA on my first ship was one and the Bosun on the Oiler was one. I went to a CAX with one who got all offended when somebody addressed him as Chief which is how Army warrants are addressed.

My son claims they can part the ocean and cure terminal illnesses. Every command he’s been to he always mentions the gunner. He’s at the pistol range this week. The base range is run by a gunner. Great guy he sounds like. He was OIC of a multi-service team when he was with CENTCOM Forward. He had an army CWO who got lots of praise. In fact now that I think about it, he’s seen more warrant officers in the wild than I did in less than half the time I was in. I missed out it appears.
