Even though we had our physician go over the vaccine list sent in the BFE and our son was current on all the required doses, he still got 2-3 on I-Day??? He has no idea what they gave him or exactly how many shots because he was wrapped up in the whole experience. All that to say, I wonder how the Covid vaccine will work if they administer it on I-Day with any other outstanding doses a P2B may need?
Same with our son. He was fully vaccinated and showed up with records, and they stuck him with a bunch of needles. As they reminded us in 2015, he could have shown up in his chones, with nothing more than his permit to report and ID in hand, and he would have been just fine. A little embarrassed, but fine!

Right now the plan is to have the plebes quarantine for a week at the beginning of plebe summer in Bancroft. This quarantine will not occur if 85% of the plebe class is vaccinated prior to I-Day.

However, everything is VERY subject to change right now.
Do plebes get stamps to use over plebe summer or do they have to bring their own/people who send letters have to include a return envelope and stamp?

Given that the 2025 Permit to Report packet has all of the important dates and our DS has not heard - we are hoping someone can provide us the currently available/posted dates for I Day and Parent Weekend. We literally have until tomorrow for Dear Dad to request his time off or he will miss out on being able to be there for our DS.
Thank you.

The academic calendar currently shows July 1 for induction day. I don’t see anything on any of the Academy calendars anything for parent weekend, but perhaps someone else has seen something that I haven’t.

In normal times, you’d count six weeks from I-Day and that would be the start of Parents Weekend. These are not normal times. Since the Plebe Summer schedule itself is in flux, Parents Weekend surely is too. There may be a target date, but I wouldn’t book anything without it being fully refundable. Semper Gumby!

My DS was never bothered by doing weigh-ins in just his chones for wrestling. Many times in a stadium full of people. But, he hates being without a pocket for that dang cell phone.

Sorry, but at least here in the intermountain west, when I hear chones or chonies I think cajones, and my apologies for that. I do use the word "skivvies" a lot.
