It's March 28, 2016 and still CPR...

Be proud of the fine sons and daughters you have raised! It's an accomplishment in itself to make it this far and it puts them in a great position to reapply next year should an appointment not come. My son was actually so excited to just to make the waitlist last year! Top 1400 out of over 15,000 was pretty darn good! Best of luck to all still waiting.

Staying positive...mine still reflects CPR...today 3/29. Spoke to my BGO today and he said nothing on his end is happening either. So its all good. No TWE!:) I'm in it for the long haul.
At least you were able to contact your BGO. We have tried contacting our BGO on numerous occasions but she has not returned any of our e-mails. We understand they are volunteers so we can't really complain much.

Yes! My BGO has been awesome! He is my saving grace and we email constantly. Truly the Navy side of all the SA application has been great.

While I won't try to suggest there is any good excuse for not returning your emails, there isn't much your BGO can tell you. We see the same status as you do and candidates learn the news -- good or bad -- before the BGO. We aren't privy to any "secret discussions" or "inside info" and our trying to contact Admissions about a candidate at this point -- well, you can imagine if even 10% of the 3000+ BGOs started regularly contacting Admissions during this, their busiest time, how annoying it would be. So we wait as you wait, although undoubtedly with more patience.

Thanks & understood... wait we shall...

Which is the Order of contact for appt?

Email? Notifying yes or no

The Portal changing from CPR
To 'congratulations' or the other option

Or TWE or BFE.

Does anyone know how they decide the order in which they review applications? Is it based on when the application was submitted or just random?

I am convinced that it's either a crystal ball or a magic eight ball. "Ask again later" "better not tell you now" "Reply hazy" Sorry, I know I'm not helpful, I just thought we needed a laugh as we hang by our fingernails on this precipice.

lol

I think that maybe, they haven't cut everyone who isn't incomplete. Okay, so they get circa 17k applications a year, 10k of those are actually complete, and 4K receive nominations and somewhere in between 2k-3k 3q and get nominated.

Okay, so here's what I know, there is a kid I've been friends with and is in my district and he was unable to receive a nomination, but he has yet to receive his TWE (I know he could get offered NAPS), also I know a kid who didn't even complete it a few districts and he has yet to receive a TWE.

Two weeks ago, my BGO said they had to go through about 700 applications, but I don't think all of them are nominated or even complete.

Disclaimer: I am a first year applicant, I might not know if that's true, but it's just my two cents.

Also I have yet to receive a TWE to USAFA, and I was unable to get nominated, I know it's different, but they have to have similar characteristics in their admissions process.

If we are relating this to an island then this is like Gilligan's island. It was kind of fun at first but toward the end it just dragged on and on. At some point it doesn't count as stranded anymore.
Oh well, hopefully the series finale is soon.
