I've seen people getting LOAs so far...but has anyone been appointed yet?

I've seen quite a few people on here say that their application is 100% complete with a nomination already. I'm in that boat as well - Presidential nomination, medically qualified, BGO interview done, qualified on the CFA, completed the rest of my application as well, etc. - and have been staring at this "complete pending review" screen on CIS for a long time now. I've done all other nomination paperwork in the meantime from Senators to Congressman to VP to JROTC, and I've gotten an LOA from West Point, and not that I'm trying to sound stuck up or that I'm expecting anything here, but does anyone know when the admissions board begins meeting? (lots of build-up for a simple question. Sorry 'bout that.)
I understand that I could get a BFE or the alternative from about now till May, but was looking for outside opinion. By the way, I have been watching from the sidelines for quite a few months now on this forum (but created an account pretty recently), and I am happy to see such a helpful community.

I've need cpr since August first and I'm expecting to wait until April-May. However being done early is good I've heard. Today I just got into the citadel and am now waiting to bring it up in my nrotc interview next week

Well said. Yes, I've heard being done early is good too. Congrats on the Citadel and good luck on your interview!

Remember USNA doesn't necessarily use the perfect first in, first to be reviewed method. You might not be reviewed until January, no one knows. An admissions counselor reviews your stuff and gets it in order first for the board. The good part of being done early is there are less complete applications so your chances of being reviewed earlier are higher. If patterns hold true, the admissions board has already met. I have no confirmation of that, but previous years they have met right after Labor Day. I have not seen anyone post an appointment on this site yet. I know there is an LOA thread right now and it is following last year's pattern. It gives the appearance reading that there have been tons given, when in reality it's not true. I think when the final appointment thread was completed last year there were ~125 appointments with ~20 LOAs on the thread. I didn't go back and look, but numbers are somewhere around there. Hopeful has the right mindset, be ready for the long haul. Best of luck!
