I loved W.E.B. Griffin books. Might need to dust those off and give them a third read. I also love Stephen Hunter books, Stephen Konkoly and Nick Petrie novels are a good way to pass time and get lost in some very intense action plots. Konkoly is a '93 USNA graduate.
In a totally different genre, I have listed Barbara Kingsolver's Poisonwood Bible novel on my top 10 list.
I also love novellas by the author I was lucky enough to work for, Jim Harrison. His are not as well known, but such great reads. He was the master of run on sentences. Brown Dog is a great character. Interestingly enough, Legends of the Fall and Wolf (Jack Nicholson) were based on novellas by him. Enjoy Sawyer's adventures, young @Jarhead713 !
