I am thinking some of the mail that they wanted to get out on Friday might not have actually been posted until yesterday.
Frankly, I expected you all to post today. Mail from CO should only take three days to get anywhere in CONUS, so if posted Friday, delivery Tues. I am just guessing that if they had several hundred to process on Friday, and knowing they are short handed , thyy might not have gotten them all out. Keep in mind the USPS sometimes takes five days to deliver, so it may be Thursday. So when do you think it will arrive? & what makes you think that? (a lot of questions but it's only because I see you as a great source of intel)

I have heard the acceptance rate is in the high 90's. This is your golden ticket. The appointment is yours to lose. That said, this year they started with 240, as always. As of March, there were less than 200. I think they will graduate about 185 and most of the graduates will succeed in getting appointed.Yeah, hopefully so. Does anybody know what the acceptance rate Cadet Candidates to the Academy is? What are the chances of not receiving an appointment? Has anybody heard of any cases where this happened?

I think the acceptance rate for priors is very high. Some of the high schoolers DOR during BMT, others just can't handle the military discipline and DOR later. Others just screw up, breaking rules or not studying.Yeah, hopefully so. Does anybody know what the acceptance rate Cadet Candidates to the Academy is? I wonder what the statistics for these candidates dropping out are. I can see some leaving BCT and few committing honor code violations, but I'd guess the majority drop out because they couldn't adjust to the military lifestyle, or had issues with academics.
I was told the same thing about the prior-enlisted acceptance rates, but I'm just trying to figure out why people DOR. Like why did the number drop from 240ish to 200ish. That's a pretty big decline in my opinion...

Based on your edit, it appears you hold the same basic view I have on why some drop out.
I agree, those numbers are big. My guess is they're mostly civilians who couldn't adjust to the military life.
What I DID hear is that they expect A LOT from the priors... Obviously, because we've "been there and done that" but I wonder what their expectations will be!
Ran into this forum a few times (thanks google) and finally decided to register and say hey. I'm an A1C out of Dover. Applied for LEAD, got a prep school invite, and will be mailing a response soon! Of course it's going to say that I accept. I saw my acceptance via portal (April 19 like a lot of you I read) but am deployed ATM so my snail mail is seriously the snail mail. Not sure what else to say right now, so look forward to shooting the breeze with y'all.
