LOA and Appointment timeline

My DS received an LOA to USMA in August. Since then, candidate has become medically qualified from DODMERB, passed the CFA (green checkmark and "passed" shown in the portal), and received a congressional nomination in late December. DS has not received a 3Q letter (is this necessary?) DS has not yet received an appointment or heard anything from USMA admissions. Should we be concerned? Is there a reason DS hasn't received an appointment when candidates without LOAs already are being appointed? Is there a possibility that an LOA won't be honored, despite DS having met all qualifications stated in the letter?
 
I am in the very same situation, and it is frustrating, but admissions is probably just swamped. I feel like asking the same question.

DS has also been waiting with LOA+3Q+Nom 🤷
 
DS is also in the same boat. Congressional nomination received the week before Christmas. Everything else has been completed for some time. The only difference now is within the past week his CFA has changed to "Candidate Fitness Assessment (CFA) score not on file, or review is pending" when it was the green check mark with the approval date.
 
I am also in the same place with LOA and everything complete. Just the waiting game now. Trust admissions to do their job and the appointment will come, it just takes time. In the meantime tell DS to just enjoy senior year without worrying about the appointment. Start training and getting in shape now.
 
I see a trend...perhaps y’all are the ‘easy ones’ ATM.

Highly doubt all of you would be recinded. Y’all are in a great spot. Stay safe, train and enjoy your last smemester with your family and friends.
 
There is a process for MOC to submit their nominations and it is not as efficient as the notifications to candidates. I do not know the inner workings of that process but I can say that I have numerous candidates that have received a message from the MOC but that MOC's nominations are not yet showing in the system. Just take a deep breath and enjoy the rest of your senior year. The wheels of the process are still moving.

Just be patient, my DD is a plebe, so first hand knowledge on this one. The first wave of appointments came out on February 6 last year. She had the LOA and was 3Q as well. DD also did not receive a 3Q letter, just the check marks in her portal. I know the wait is awful, but please spend the time with your kiddo and tell him to enjoy his senior year as much as he can. The next 6 months will fly by.

Updating my original post from last week: my DD finally received an appointment notice in her portal on 1/22 (with no notice prior) and received the BFE in today's mail (1/25). What a process this has been but very proud of her!!

Would you happen to be in the far west region? I know some regions do it differently, I am in the exact same situation however I have not received a BFE yet.
 
DS is in NY with LOA and 3Q and nothing yet. It looks like the North East has been very quiet so far.
