Today, my portal showed a LOA, letter of assurance.
Congratulations Bizzy1013. Very exciting! What conditions need to be filled for you to receive an appointment?Today, my portal showed a LOA, letter of assurance.
I am not certain as of yet. It just updated this morning and no other communication has been sent. I have passed my CFA and qualified for DODMERB.Congratulations Bizzy1013. Very exciting! I have been working with my MOC very close and let them know as soon as I got this notification.Sounds like all you need might be a nomination. That is sometimes a big hurdle, so make sure your members of Congress know you have a LOA. Let me know if you have any questions.

Are you announcing that you have an appointment or that you have an LOA?
Gator, I applied the first day it opened and pushed to complete all necessary paperwork required by USMMA. I was really early in the window. How long ago did you complete your application and CFA before they updated the system to show LOA?
For prospective students: I wish you all the very best. Getting a LOA is outstanding and the beginning of your dreams and aspirations. There is still much work to be done. You have only walked through the gates and many obstacles yet await for you to get through to see the ring on the other side. I write this to make sure you all understand that many of you will not make it through the rigors of this academy. Most of you have never failed at anything in life. There is a good chance that you will see failure at USMMA. It is not a normal school. It is fast paced, you are taking 4 years of university classes in 3 years. Your regimental life is your full time job. So basically, you are going to take up to 22 credit hours and work a full time job at the same time. It is meant to put you into the most stressful conditions just to see what you are made of. Go into this academy in the best mental and physical shape you can. Without either, you will most likely fail. I know you won't listen to your father, but I hope you listen to me. Take it from a dad who's daughter did not listen. I wish you all the best of luck, you trials have just begun. Go and conquer!

The regiment is nobody's full time job other than the commandant's staff. There is no plebe taking 22 hours either. I think the max is like 19 plebe year. The majority of tri's are 16-18, one tri I only had 13.Your regimental life is your full time job. So basically, you are going to take up to 22 credit hours and work a full time job at the same time.
