Misdiagnosed Vocal Cord Dysfunction

When I was 13, I saw an allergist for problems with my exercise. I think I just wasn't in shape, but convinced myself it was a problem with my breathing (which is normal for an unconditioned person). I was given an inhaler but tested negative twice for exercise induced bronchospasm. They diagnosed me with vocal cord dysfunction (without any further testing) and I never went for the follow-up appointment. As of now, I'm able to do physical activity without any adverse effects: I started cross country running when I was 15, and I've been able to run 10 miles without stopping. I haven't experienced any symptoms since then and I never had therapy for it. Is my chance of getting a waiver likely? I'm just worried it isn't high because there's not a lot of proof that I'm not experiencing symptoms (since I didn't have a follow up).
