Hello,

I am in AFROTC and will be competing in the rated board for a pilot slot this spring. I was put on MRS last semester for an ingrown toenail surgery. In early January I was released from MRS but unfortunately, the injury did not fully heal and I will be getting another surgery to get it fixed. My questions are, will being on MRS during Rated Boards affect my chances of getting a rated position, and will being put on MRS twice for the same injury even though it may be a minor one cause any issues with DoDMERB or possible a future flight physical?

Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If you were on MRS, that means you are contracted. Therefore, DoDMERB does not apply to you. You need to contact your cadre and they will be able to answer your questions :wiggle:
