I know this is probably a very oddly specific question for this forum but I was wondering if there is a possible opportunity to be baptized at NSI?

Short candid answer- presents as inappropriate, not a good idea.

NSI is a very structured event that is all about indoctrination to follow orders, learn customs and courtesies, demonstrate a few competencies and to work as a team. It’s not about The individual or taking time out to complete activities that tackle personal goals. Learn to rock climb, learn to crochet, take a few hours off to go to the movies. Etc. not happening. There is an opportunity to attend religious services, but you asked for feedback, right? Baptism is an individual activity focused on you and your lord. IMO, bluntly you won’t have time- Even asking while there, I think, would highlight that you don’t get the point of the experience since you’re adding a ME activity to a WE event. In 2019, someone asked if a TV could be brought in at NSI so they could watch the World Cup matches. Once you complete NSI you’ll see why that was a LOl request.

Why would you pair these activities? If you need to do a baptism away from. Family or whatever, can you do it at college? You do you but there is one opinion for you to potentially consider.

There are religious services for the NSI mids. Have your mid get with the Chaplain to see if they can baptize.

Just because something is possible, It doesn't mean its a good idea. There are ample opportunities outside NSI to do this.

What types of religious services are available ?
DS went when he did NSI. Most go just to get away from MI's and the grind for alittle while. I'm pretty sure it is a non denominational service lead by a chaplain, or maybe a couple of options. They don't go to local churchs off base for different demonimations or anything like that.
