Congratulations to all the new appointees. My DS received notice from Senator Landrieu but we don't know who his appointment was charged to yet.

M730/CR640/W670 GPA 4.25 #1 class good leadership positions and varsity letter/captain every year. I was worried about the critical reading score but everything I heard was that they were more interested in the math and leadership positions (fortunately). I have a sister who is graduating from MIT this year and I thought it was interesting their admissions people told her that once you hit 700 on the SAT that was it, no more weight for an 800 (they said they turn down 800s all the time and want more well rounded students who are doing more than academics).

3.99, ACT 25, 400+ service hours, 10 varsity letters, 3 congresional nominations, and 1 appoitment to USAFA. Hope that helps

Congrats YorkieMom75! I've been stalking the boards waiting for good news from you. So happy for you! Speaking of bubble wrap, I work for the company that makes it. Think maybe I'll check to see if they can work a deal with me so I can ship some out to everyone. It doesn't just protect it also helps to relieve stress!

From what I've read from other posters is that "most" of the time you will receive the BFE before you see a status change. It was also mentioned earlier today somewhere that the BFE's will be sent out Wednesday this week but I'm not 100% on that.
