It's funny, because at the initial briefing when we got our last hug we were told that there were 1308 new cadets, then at the briefing at 3 pm were were told it was 1298, and then at the oath ceremony at 6:30 they said it was 1304. So who knows what it actually is, and maybe it's a floating number because people drop. Either way, it is about 100 more than I expected, and hope that isn't because they are planning on losing more this year by attrition. The strong will survive though.
Your very quick to judge. Brovol states he had been looking at pics "through the Facebook group,". I am posting pics to the parents page class ofYou are inviting a father to look for pictures on the Moms' page? Not cool.

2020-So cool.
A female NC in my grad's class refused to get off the bus after the 90-second good-bye and started outprocessing.40-50 during Beast.
It is not unheard of to have some leave on R-day. My son's R-day - there was a guy in his group that was shocked at how 'military' West Point was. Not what he wanted and he started the separation process before the end of the day.
Some will separate right before graduation.
You won't see numbers on how many separate when, but you hear about them through your cadet, the parent FB pages, friends, WPPC etc.
I always wonder if it was Mommy and Daddy's dream instead of theirs.....During my USNA BattO time, we all shook our heads over the I-Day plebes who got shots and a shaved head/chop cut, then decided to walk away.
