Request a Tour update on my portal?

Hello Service Academy Forum. As we approach appointment season, everyone seems to be very anxious/stressed out (I definitely am). With that in mind thanks y'all so much with insight information to keep me sane. I can't thank this forum enough.

My question:
I've recently received a notification on my portal to tour west point. Does anyone know if this signifies anything? I've done SLE as well, so I don't really see a point in visiting. To be honest, I don't think they will ask me to tour if I didn't have a shot. Although I never received my 3Q letter, I believe I am triple qualified with a Virginia senatorial nomination (college re-applicant). Please let me know what you think!

I am 3Q and have also noticed this update to my portal. Several other people on these forums have mentioned the same change to theirs as well, leading me to believe that this was added to remaining files across the board, although I cannot be sure.

No update to my DD's file. She got a 2Q letter before her medical had processed and nothing since then except a FFR interview.

I also saw this under the "Your Account" section of the home page on my portal. I tend to think it's something they've added to all existing files, but who knows, maybe it is a good sign.

I was notified of my Usma qualification on the 23rd of March (last Friday). This also popped up for me. I feel I’m an average candidate at best, so those who are still in the race probably received this message. It’d be nice to think that I got it because I will receive appointment, but I doubt it’s a sure thing haha.

where/when is info re: a FFR interview? DS got 2Q letter 3/26, is medically disqualified (hasn't changed to waiver requested), also got the tour update (i think it must have been sent to all). i have read posts about others having a FFR interview and am hoping DS hasn't missed something that he should have seen on the portal...

I have been a bit perplexed seeing posts about currently scheduled or recent FFR interviews as I had mine around April of my junior year. Perhaps my FFR conducts it differently, but they had interviewed quite a few people that day. They called me then to schedule the interview; it is not something that your DS forgot to schedule or didn't know about. Has your DS met your FFR at any admissions events?

My DD received this thing too. She was 3Qed on 16 Mar. I hope this is a great thing! When did you received your 3 Q letter and how many days to appointment? Apparently DD’s MOC usually don’t call per experience with some other from her school last year. Looking forward for a good news!

We have the same message, but thought they were just for regular tours of academy not overnight. I thought maybe it just went out to everyone ?

Went out to everyone, even people that have been accepted. I asked my friends and it's on theirs as well.

Yup! My DS already accepted the offer and it popped up on his portal.

It has showed up on all of our portals, and I'm not even applying until next year. I think it's just a new feature that they put on there to make it easier to schedule visits.
