The post needed some extra flavor.Since my time on the staff late in the 20th century, I have watched the names and company cultures change over the years. Some changes are swift, some gradual, some names linger, some evaporate. The Bearsharks were not the Bearsharks, but something very low-key. I can’t remember what catalyzed their morphing. It’s all good.

... yes.How about you post that document? Or is it only available on a need to know basis?
Hard to believe they finally let that go after so many years; 19th Co. was pretty proud and contentious about it when I was there. Maybe the memory has finally faded.Free 19. I had a front row seat.
What was interesting to me as the years passed, what I heard from successive classes of midshipmen passing through our home as sponsor mids or “ride-alongside, about how the “Free 19” origin story began.Hard to believe they finally let that go after so many years; 19th Co. was pretty proud and contentious about it when I was there. Maybe the memory has finally faded.
