Kids these days, geesh.
We definitely have it easier!Probably a lot more comfortable than the Boondockers that were issued to us on Induction Day. All of us had to wear shoes

Whippersnaper@Devil Doc Whoa, holy wayback, Batman. We were issued those in my JROTC program back in the mid-80s. Not comfortable because at the time I was passing through shoe sizes so rapidly that I never broke them in, and they were not easy for a 15 year old to get a shine on.

And I think all of us even packed our own stuff when we left home.I was joking. I follow military training closely and in many areas it is more intense and difficult today than in my day.
