School of Intent Change too late?

Hello forum,

I am a AROTC applicant and I got boarded for the October five days ago. I was wondering if it was still possible to change schools on the list of 7 schools that I submitted. The school of intent list is locked which is understandable, but if in the best case I am matched with my #1 school, would it still be possible for Fort Knox to change my #2 school to a different college that I have fell in love with? Thank you.

Here’s the deal. If an offer comes it will be to one or more schools. There will be a letter with that offer that tells you that you have to accept to one school, and decline the others. If you don’t get an offer to the school you want to attend, and you have been accepted to that school, the letter will explain that there is a transfer request option. You can ask to have your offer changed to another school. You can also send an email to Cadet Command and ask them to reorder your schools before the offers start to be made.

Hi, last year I changed my school choice one week before I was awarded my scholarship for NROTC in April. Took about 30 seconds to do, just sent a quick email. There were no problems, so you shouldn't have any, esp in Nov
