Hello, I have had my medical file reviewed yesterday and my newest message today is: Date letter sent - Single Disqualification (D211.50 and D164.70). I don't understand how I was disqualified by these measures; the physician that checked me said I had no issues at all, and throughout my life I never had any severe medical issues.
The head injury in question was a forehead injury I had when I was five or six years old, I passed out and after medical treatment on the same night I was asymptomatic. The injury has not affected me since the day I had it. I don't understand how I have a miscellaneous issue with my abdomen or intestinal system, again, the physician stated I had no issues afterwards, saying my medical was 'perfect.' Nothing medically has ever affected any of my academic or physical activities... I believe they made a mistake. What should I do in this situation? Should I message Lawrence Mullen about the problem? I apologize in advance if my post sounds emotional, I feel as if everything I've ever done is in jeopardy.

Did they send you remedial requests? Or an automatic DQ? Remember that you could still have the opportunity for a waiver!

All I know is that they sent a letter as what’s in the image... Not 100% sure what it means at the moment. My portal used to show unknown, now it shows incomplete. I don’t see anything that says that I’m DQ’d explicitly, but those are disqualification codes. I want to avoid getting into the situation for the waiver, as I know most decisions will be made in April. I also disagree with DoDMERB’s medical analysis. I believe they had mixed something up or read the records incorrectly. I appreciate your response though! I hope they’ll send me a remedial but it seems as if I’m going to have to wait on a waiver if I don’t fix it, by the looks of it. My biggest worry is doing that, as I’m a competitive, but average candidate in comparison to the class of 2017’s stats, nothing exceptional based on test scores or CFA scores.

Based on the image you sent, you are technically DQ. All is not lost, but that is your current status according to DoDMRB.

You're right, I am DQ, sadly. I'm hoping I can get a waiver, although I know all I can do is hope, I contacted them and they did not explain my situation to me at all, only restated what I already knew.

When you talked to them, did they say they've requested additional info?

The D211.50 is a “history of...” classification. Because it happened at all, even so long ago, you have a “history of...” condition that is disqualifying. I feel your pain. My DD has the same issue - an injury when she was 4. No difficulties afterwards but still DQ. We are hoping for the news on a waiver this week. She contacted the CGA yesterday to ask about the timeline and they indicated that a waiver decision was expected this week. We are hopeful.

No, they just told me "If you'd like, you can submit the copies of your evaluations/records pertaining to your blank and DoDMERB will re-evaluate." for both entries. The 164.70 is also based on my history, (I was sick during the end of the summer after JCLC) according to what they based it upon.
