Congratulations, it is nice to hear that some BFEs are still arriving.
Currently feeling like we are riding with the Chance brothers, slim and none.
 
At this point I would welcome news in any form - preferably good news. Never did I think it would take this long for DS to get an answer. He said yesterday he just wants to know what he can look forward to. Senior year is winding down, he is looking for his future.

Every morning I tell DH, "Today's the day!" Every afternoon he checks in after he figures I've gotten the mail. Maybe I'm right today? Plan B is solid, but we are still waiting hopefully in VA. I don't think DS bargained for this wait, but I imagine there is a lot he hasn't bargained for if he gets an appointment. He is home sick today. Bet he'd feel better if the mailman brought him a BFE from USNA.
 
I know my DS never thought it would take this long when he completed his application and had his BGO interview LAST AUGUST! But the wait goes on. I feel like you all have become my 12 step group - "Hello my name is Prepswimmom and I'm a mailbox stalker".

We are in NY. We do know of an appointment in our district so we think our DS is in the National pool. We are pretty sure the appointee had an LOA so not sure if he was charged to our congressman or not.
 
We don't know of any in our district. As far as we know DS IS still on MOC slate.

I know of someone in my district who got an appointment (they are on the appointment thread), but it was an LOA through one of my Senators (I believe it is still erroneously listed as "Congressional" rather than "Senatorial" on the appointment thread). As far as I know, I'm still on my Congressional slate.
