Did you DS complete everything that was needed by the deadline of February 1st? Is he 3Q?
Mooselover did they give you any sort of a time frame?Talked to admissions. They are running super far behind. Don’t expect news anytime soon!

Ugh
Specifically what academy? We'd heard that AF was behind. With the supposed deadline of Monday...I'm wondering what behind looks like.Talked to admissions. They are running super far behind. Don’t expect news anytime soon!
I am on hold and still waiting to hear back from USMMA but I was told that I won't hear back until after May 1. This is an issue because I need to make a $400 deposit to Mass Maritime (my 2nd choice where I got accepted already). Is anyone else in the same position/have a solution? I don't want to commit to Mass Maritime and then get accepted to USMMA. Thanks,
Okay, I'm going to send my deposit ASAP. Tell your son to look into the Strategic Sealift Midshipman Program (SSMP) that Mass Maritime offers. It's an NROTC program that gives $8k/year and a commission as a Strategic Sealift officer in the Navy after graduation.@AD2023 - My DS is in your exact same position. He has proudly sent a deposit to Mass Maritime and he is very much looking forward to being a Buc this fall. In the event things change we will cross that bridge when we come to it. Sincere best wishes.
