Lone Star - I also remember you from last year. Your attitude and determination are the qualities that will make you a successful Cadet and Army officer.

You are learning that you are joining "The Long Grey Line" of graduates and Cadets. This is in my view the greatest fraternity in the world. You will soon learn at West Point and in the Army that help and support will always be available from other members.
 
Please tell me that I am not the only one that had tears swelling up in their eyes when they read this story!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Not too many, I hope! The story had a happy ending, or at least it does so far. I can only pray it keeps it.
