On to plan D, as plan D now looks more appealing than plan B or C. He will not reapply as he already has 30 units of college done and not excited about starting over with 2 plus years completed

Looks like a lot of candidates receiving TWE today. I’m impressed by the posts congratulating those who got BFE, and some pledging to try again next year. Both are mature approaches. In the end, the goal is to become a commissioned officer on active duty. There are different ways to get there, and you must pick the path that’s right for you. As others here have said, “Bloom where you’re planted.”
 
Is there any truth/accuracy to if you got a TWE today you were “still in the running” up until the bitter end? or is it a luck of the draw and the decision was made already but USNA jus didn’t inform you?

I've been (and likely will be again realistically) in your exact spot, best of luck to you from one NROTC Mid to another.
 
Has anyone received a TWE, taking them off the waitlist recently?
