TWEs will be sent this week

From the info on letter, is there still chance for Falcon Scholarship consideration? I'm thinking just the prep school is out.

All the non-select letters that will be sent today have been posted. If you don't show one on your portal now you will not get one today.

my son just received his TWE.
Good luck to everyone still in the running!!! He has a 3 year AROTC so now we can put all our focus on that!!!
 
Just received mine. States no chance for appointment or prep school. Goodluck to everyone else.
 
I am so sorry to hear about all the TWE's. Reading all the posts conjures up a memory of seeing my 2 y/o child fall down, skinning her knees, crying crocodile tears looking up to me for comfort. What do we do? We pick them up, brush them off, clean them up, put a band aid on their "boo boo", not forgetting to kiss it, and shove them off to play. I know it is such a disappointment, but all of the candidates are top notch and deserving. You have what it takes to pick yourself up and get to the next task. It's okay to be down today, but tomorrow, if you want to reach your goal, you've gotta get up and go and never give up! NEVER!!

It's great to hear of the plan Bs and other options. I have no doubt you will all be successful no matter where your path takes you this next year. And for those re-applying, that letter states exactly what you have to do to make yourself stand out even more. And USAFA loves re-applicants, so if that is your dream, go for it. I wish all of you success.
 
I'm so sorry to hear of all the TWEs. The competition seemed really tough this year.
 
My DS received one as well.:( Plan B is still on unless a miracle happens. VT has a great engineering program. He is a great kid who will do well, no matter where he goes. This forum has been wonderful. Thank you all and good luck to the rest of the bright young people still waiting.

My heart goes out to those that received the TWE today. My DS and I knew today was going to be a nail-biter and still is. We have prepared ourselves for the TWE but remain hopeful. Plans are being made to finalize the Plan B, which at any moment could be come the Plan A.

If Insider is right, we may have more days to bit nails. :D
 
My son got his TWE shortly after I posted earlier. The hardest part is not that he got one, but not knowing why. I realize they don't have time to show what is lacking, but he is left not knowing where things went wrong and what specifically he can do if he does decide to reapply.
 
I'm sorry to hear about all of you who have received TWEs the past few days. You all will go on to do great things for this country.

Who here have not received appointments and have yet to get TWEs? I'm in this boat and every minute that goes by is painful.
 
My DS has not heard either and I was told to check portal after midnight tonight. Doesn't sound good but I could not tell by the persons voice either way.

I guess that's mountain time!? I may have to set my clock! Happy to still be in it.

Basically after midnight meant letters from today haven't posted yet, I guess. But of course he will check after midnight. I do feel this whole process is mysterious.
