Was hoping maybe we’d get lucky and something today but nothing so far. LolThanks for this post! I, too, need to be occupied. Just so ready to know either way!

That’s the big question. In years past that was a fairly good marker for a lot of notices coming through but as of now everything seems to be running a bit behind, maybe because DODMERB was down so long? Who really knows, we are all guessing at this point. Is April 21st the date when most candidates should be notified of their status?

Gosh, I hope it doesn’t go past the 21st!!That’s the big question. In years past that was a fairly good marker for a lot of notices coming through but as of now everything seems to be running a bit behind, maybe because DODMERB was down so long? Who really knows, we are all guessing at this point.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't look for a wave next week. If that were coming, I believe some people would have already received calls from their MOC and posting about it here. Of course, MOC calls preceding a wave could occur next week, but at this point I wouldn't be expecting a wave of portal notifications next week.Just analyzed the previous “waves” of appointments, I was able to come up with the most common days that they come. 7 have come on Mondays, 5 on Tuesdays, 3 on Wednesdays, and 2 on each Thursdays and Fridays. Just interesting, it may be random but it appears that most appointments come at the beginning of each week.

I'm starting to think April 21 may be a slew of direct appointments, USAFAPS, FF, and TWEs, with the offers having until May 1 to decide. Then backfill offers until everything is full. Just a WAG.
Do you have visibility on appointment numbers? Are you suggesting that appointments are going to materially roll into May? Is there an explanation why the posted appointment numbers here are 40% below final appointment numbers posted here for the last three years, which have been remarkably consistent?USAFA will start to send out "non-select" notices on April 21st...don't expect a "slew" of appointments alongside the non-select notices.

What I have visibility to, I can't reveal as I'm an active ALO and USAFA/RRS has not released the information. I can say what I did; April 21st they will start "rolling out" notices of non-selection. Beyond that, I don't have their total numbers of appointment offers/acceptances, etc.Do you have visibility on appointment numbers? Fair enough, and the April 21 date for TWE is no surprise. But your statement, "don't expect a 'slew' of appointments alongside the non-select notices" seems like a conundrum unless I'm overreading it and the phrase "alongside the non-select notices" is carrying the bulk of the weight. Bottom line is that the visible evidence -- four years of posted history in this forum and this year's DoDMERB delays, which USAFA admissions itself evidently pointed to in an admissions briefing just a month ago in which they apparently said to expect a lot of April appointments -- still suggests a lot of missing direct appointments. What I have visibility to, I can't reveal as I'm an active ALO and USAFA/RRS has not released the information. You should, if they choose to communicate- My dd is in the same position. You receive the nomination from the district. So should be communicated from the MOC from the district. If you MOC is no longer in office, would I receive communication from the current occupant?
We didn't receive communication from anyone. Just saw it on the portal. Not every MOC takes the time to reach out.If you MOC is no longer in office, would I receive communication from the current occupant?
