USNA 2025 Waiting and....Waiting

That makes sense, it had like 750 followers on Friday so to be at nearly 1000 only a few days later would be wild. Puts my mind at ease a little

At the risk of sounding foolish, I’ve got to admit that not sure I’m following what this means. Are we assuming that there was a large batch of appointments went out recently? Or that the nearly 1000 members means that USNA has nearly filled the class? Both?

Nah, I wouldn't stress about the Instagram. Anyone can follow the account and the account itself is being made fun of by USNA meme pages which are causing current mids to follow the page.

Really wouldn't use that page as a metric of appointments, anyone can follow it
 
Does anyone know what portion of the admissions letters they have sent out yet?

Working at staying positive and not giving into feelings of discouragement as the days pass by and many others receive appointments. Accepted into a prestigious school of Engineering as plan B, but still really praying for USNA. After over a year of preparation of documents for the application, the waiting with nothing left to do is difficult. Good luck to everyone!

Does anyone have a sense of how many appointments have gone out versus are still to come?
 
DS/no LOA/presidential, service connected. Was told by his BGO last week he was 3Q. Also waiting on AFROTC, NROTC and USAFA. Just waiting like everyone else here and on the AFA thread. Plan C at Norwich is solid...waiting on ROTC scholarship info before a solid plan B at perhaps University of SC or Embry Riddle.

DS was between Norwich and ERAU as well. He recently decided on ERAU as Plan B after being able to visit.

I just wanted to inform those waiting in the word on their vice presidential nomination that it has already been granted this year. With this information I thought I should share for those that have been waiting too.

I received a call from the USNA office today informing me that my LOA contingent only of a nomination may not be fulfilled this year.

Congratulations on your acceptance to Georgia Tech! It’s quite an achievement! I am sorry about the phone call but don’t give up hope.
 
Son, has an LOA (which he received at the end of November), only thing left on it was a nomination. But he did NOT receive one. He only got one for the USAFA. He did "apply" for a VP one, although those are like unicorns.

So now waiting to see if a mystery nomination is given to him. Not a lot of high hopes for that.
