USNA 2025 Waiting and....Waiting

Yeah. I am fully qualified with a nom and DODMERB - no waiver pending. No decision has been made.
 
I am still waiting with No LOA, have been DoDMERB Qualified from day 1, and 1 MOC Nomination. I believe another candidate from my district got my MOC's slate, so more than likely I am in the National Pool. I feel my application was strong, with the exception of a high SAT score, and did not have the ability to retake it because of cancellations. I think I am a good candidate for NAPS, but we will see how this all plays out. Strange thing is I received a National NROTC Scholarship without an SAT, so that is my crazy story. I'm very grateful whatever boat I'm on. Keeping the FAITH! Fly NAVY!⚓

1. USNA has given out all the appointments, and any future spots that become available go to those on the waitlist. So unless they've been holding out an appointment for us (which is extremely unlikely this late in the game), we're just being strung out to receive a TWE.

2. If people on this thread end up getting appointments, this undermines the entire point of the waitlist to begin with.

We just continue to wait patiently. We have been trying to not read into anything, but, this doesn’t make sense to me as our son has not been notified of waitlist at all but seems to be waiting on medical waiver.
So, we will just wait regardless of when the actual notification will come.

This is also my hope. My only downfall is my college first semester grades so I am hoping id be able to get NAPS if they see that fit. Fingers crossed

You and Luke are truly twins. Of different mothers. I think NAPS would be fantastic for him also!
Got a little nervous when naps went out in droves two days ago. But then I thought of you. Keep the faith!
 
Per this afternoon's live chat with LT Kim "We intend to notify all candidates of their offer status by the end of this week." Further clarifying question as to time of day, ".... I do not have a timestamp as to when all notifications will be sent." "...it is possible for notifications to go out as late as that time (11:59pm 30APR)"

Fully Qualified incl DODMERB, No Waiver, Pres Nom, No SAT, No notification or change in status for several months.

I believe in the puzzle builder theory. Pres Nom with certain attributes that is ready to fit in the puzzle if a spot presents itself, or they are nearing the max Pres nominees admitted in a class and are waiting for all the puzzle pieces to fall to determine which Noms to appoint in order to hit their overall Class of 2025 characteristics. I think I am in that bucket. Longshot, but not a NO.
