Since we are seeing our first waitlisters, I made a place for you to hang out, hopefully report your escape to the appointment thread or report other plans.

Let’s just do a simple list format.

Example:
1) SaltySam27/Self, DD, DS or whatever applies/anything else you want to add, noms, Re-applicant, etc.


Mods: Someone just started a dupe thread right after this one. You can delete this one. I did not have that option, only edit.
 
Hello all!
I, along with many others, were just waitlisted for the class of 2027.
But instead of a pity party, I am making a thread for questions, updates, jokes, etc. to keep our spirits up!
Let’s keep pushing through a few more weeks of waiting, we are nearly there!

You can keep this one, I was unaware you created one! No worries at all
 
For everyone waitlisted, make sure to read the letter given as it will have relevant details for accepting the waitlist offer. If I recall, the candidate has to email Noms & Appointments to let them know that you wish to remain on the list.

And remember, it is not a ranked list with top people pulled off first! Each person on the list will be associated with some nomination slate. If appointments were offered on that slate, and people turn the appointment down, that is where they will probably slate you. So, you are not competing directly against other people on the waitlist specifically.

Did anyone click the link that said Waitlist QA under the appointment offer section? DS clicked the accept button and answered the medical info requested and by the time he got through those clicks, the document under it was gone.
