When do people put on the NWL typically hear back from the academy? Is it usually closer to April 15?

Me too, but maybe it could also mean they aren't onto our slate yet?

We'll never know for sure nor does it really matter. We're promised decisions by April 15th, so it's better to leave the worrying behind and just wait and see

If DS does not hear by May 1, the decision will be made for him because he will have to commit elsewhere. I sure hope April 15 is a meaningful date.

Read about the charging of noms, discussed all over the forums. You have no idea where that candidate is charged. Multiple people from a slate can be offered appointments. You cannot assume that since someone from your MOC’s slate has been offered an appointment, that others wont as well. Same as for the Senators. You are still in the game, until you arent!

If you look on the other USNA waiting thread, most appointments are gonna come late March-April 15th. I feel your pain though

Joined the forums today in hopes of it helping to ease my anxious nerves; I'm not sure reading all of this is helping.. lol .. waiting is so hard!

At least I have NJROTC Navy Nationals to look forward to (I'm headed to Pensacola, FL with my high school's NJROTC unit in two weeks ).
