Waiting Room Fun

Just a quick question, I haven't heard back from USNA yet about the status of my appointment. I've already received my appointment to USAFA and USMA should be next week considering the entire debacle currently with the early portal update. How likely is it that somebody else form my congressional slate has received an appointment?

Depends on how strong/weak the slate is and where you rank.

"The status of your Appointment....." may be a bit presumptious. USNA tries to notify everybody by April 15 ..beyond that, who knows ?

Ok, I'm just want to keep all my options open and know if I should consider USNA in trying to pick which service academy I will attend.

USNA gives until May 1 to accept offers of Appointment. I would expect that the other Service Academies (and colleges ) do as well, but ready your the terms of any Offer carefully. There is a reason for this ..that allows you to consider all of your options.

It's getting closer and closer to home! UCSD Medical center did not label a vial from the evacuees flown into San Diego last week, turns out it was positive when they finally tested it but the person was already back to the quarantine facility at NAS Miramar!

We have 2 exchange students from China this year...this has been a very, very interesting month. Ther perspective with THEIR family and friends back home. Spring break trips back home canceled. And now its questionable if they will be able to go back during the summer.
