I have been medically DQ'd by DoDMERB because of my scoliosis; however, the radiologist initially had a transcription error so my doctor requested an addendum to correct the transcription error. Given that my curvature is within the requirements of 30 degrees for DoDMERB, do you know my chances of getting a waiver if I have already been accepted to the Coast Guard Academy (waiver requested by them on 12/30/21)? I have maintained an active lifestyle without pain or physical limitations throughout high school--varsity track, cross country, skiing, swimming, AIM, etc. Also, now that I am in waiver review, would it be worthwhile to send a CD of my x-rays to DoDMERB or should it go to someone at the CGA?
Thanks in advance for any insight that you can provide!
