When can I schedule my DoDMERB medical exam?

Anybody with any DoDMERB-type of questions should listen to this excellent podcast on the subject.

Also, how many reps of pull ups should I be able to do to pass the CFA if I can max out the mile and achieve around average marks for the other events?

No one knows for certain what is a "pass" for any or all events on the CFA for USNA purposes. USMA publishes "averages," but they may or may not be relevant for USNA and USMA. BGOs can "guesstimate" on what's passing, based on experience. For males, my guesstimate is around 7 pull-ups. If you do really well on the other events, you might be ok a bit lower. This is ONLY a guesstimate. I'm quite sure males have passed with fewer and some have failed with more.

For females, 1 pull-up will usually be passing, assuming o/w decent scores across the board. Not sure what they're looking for in flexed arm hang, but would aim for >30 seconds.

Also, the above is for USNA only. USMA and USAFA may well have a very different take on things.

My son is going to be at SLE and SS, so he’s “scheduled” to take the CFA twice. Can anyone confirm that each time you take it, it overwrites the last one? Or are they all kept on file? Ultimately, I’m wondering if he should skip the second one if he does well the first time.

Okay, thank you so much! I'll make sure to ask my ALO, BGO, and Field Force Liaison Officer about the topic this summer when we get in touch.

That was an experienced BGO who just told you that they did not know. I seriously doubt that your BGO will be able to tell you much more.
I've been a BGO for over 30 years and could not tell you more details.
