So, chewy or crispy?
the really well cooked, almost burnt stuff is what I use to make warm bacon vinaigrette, with Dijon mustard. Yumer.....YES ! I will take either way.
(I guess i prefer and usually make it middlin' , but I often eat a little as it cooks, and sometimes I really go for the well cooked so it kinda melts in your mouth).
Buffoonery adventures in bacon:
I had winter training for a program I'm in, and I got the day off school. I woke up around 07:00 and headed to my local Sonic, where I ordered a toaster with bacon (lightly toasted bread, eggs, melted cheese and most importantly bacon)
THEY BURNED IT! Like it was BLACK. The bacon was BLACK
I sent it back almost immediately. The carhop was like "...you're sending it back?" and I said "Yes ma'am. This is a disgrace to the entire bacon eating community."
She has the AUDACITY to respond with "There's a bacon eating community...?"

The tweets are hilarious.
Another one to ponder - the Michelin tire man, along with the Pillsbury Doughboy, have really slimmed down over the last 20 years.
I don’t know whether they are eating less bacon or have gone keto with more bacon.
To quote many a Navy friend: "The sun's over the yardarm somewhere..."I'm trying to lose holiday wait so I've been bringing BLT's for lunch 3 days a week. Now if we could just go back to the days of having a whiskey decanter in your office.
