Congrats to your son! Be sure to post on the USMMA 2025 Appointment thread when he gets his appointment.DS just received his LOA in the mail! He was at a football game and I couldn't wait for him to get home and open the letter!! Excited
Congratulations to your son! Just a reminder to please post on the USMMA 2025 Appointment thread once he gets his appointment. My son was notified of his LOA today...he's pumped. Status hasn't changed yet, but he was excited that his read went well.
What position and what state does he hail from, only if you care to share?Congrats to all who received an LOA! Very excited and proud to see that my son received an LOA from USMMA today. (recruited for football)
California - he has been a RB/ tailback since he was 8 years old.. also played some QB running the option and wildcat sets. (his high school runs the ball 90% of the time - that is when they were playing)...What position and what state does he hail from, only if you care to share?
Oh, California? What area. I went to high school just east of Sacramento. Haven't lived there full time since then, though.California - he has been a RB/ tailback since he was 8 years old.. also played some QB running the option and wildcat sets. Nice! However, you definitely don't want to have his name on this site. They discourage it to remain anonymous. You might want to change to just reflect your SAF handle. In preparation for what I hope will be my son's commitment to Kings Point, I created this edit
Thank you. I didn't know that. I will need to ask an admin to edit it or remove it for me. I went outside the alloted time to do it myselfNice! Thank you!!Hello everyone!
Just to remind everyone, please do not put personally-identifying information in your posts. SAF does not normally delete posts however when there's enough information revealed that can put the OP at risk of more than just a comment here, we can, and will, take action. I have removed the post that identified the young man earlier. I congratulate him and share the joy of his father!! This is a great moment!
Let's just be mindful that too much information in a public forum can be problematic!
Again, congratulations to the young man!!!

That’s awesome! What sport is he being recruited for? Congratulations to him!My son’s status on the portal changed to LOA today! We were surprised to see any change reflected on Christmas Day. In fact, we almost didn’t check but couldn’t break the daily habit that’s developed! He had previously received the recruited athlete email so this wasn’t a complete surprise but it was still reassuring to see those three letters! Hoping for a medical waiver soon (which should be his last obstacle) and then an appointment. It’s been a long and uphill battle already with CFA and PFE retakes, nomination disappointments, medical disqualification.
Thank you, Track & Field. That’s awesome! What sport is he being recruited for? Congratulations to him!
