Is there a way to determine which SA or ROTC program initiated contact with DodMERB? The one from West Point is easy, but can’t figure out if the second one is USAFA, USNA, or an ROTC program. Wish it was noted on the DoDMERB site

Since y’all are incredibly knowledgeable I’d love to ask a question. DS is “Under Waiver Review” does that mean 100% of the time there will be a request for more information? Or does it sometimes just turn into a “Waiver Granted”? The clinic my son went to when he was 9 years old is long gone...

I’m planning for in case my son doesn’t receive the scholarship. Since he would still like to be in ROTC, and he’s definitely going of out state for school. Love the schools that offer in-state for ROTC participation! It will save us tens of thousands of dollars.

Oklahoma schools give in-state tuition to kids in ROTC. Are there other ROTC-friendly schools, offering tuition breaks for ROTC?

Try checking again. We noticed they would show sold out, then later show available. I think people sign up and drop out often, or they add more spots. But for sure keep checking.

My son received an LOE in August and then an LOA on September 1 (right after his DODMERB info posted). So, keep working on your app and other requirements if it’s isn’t complete. Good luck!
