2027 State Nominations Thread

Senators don't actually have a "district" but there are 435 MOCs who do have a clear district with a number so this is a way to identify the senators in the same system as the House of Reps Members with a two letter state abbreviation plus 2 digit number. The numbers start at a number higher than any state has house reps so that they don't get confused. Thus 81 or 82 or in past years I saw 61 or 62.
Very interesting! Thank you for explaining that, it totally makes more sense now!

Haven’t recieved any form of correspondence from senator Cruz. Anyone else?
That is interesting. DS got a TWE from Cruz on Christmas Eve. I thought I saw someone post that they got a nomination phone call from Sen. Cruz on Christmas Eve. Maybe no news is good news? Fingers crossed for you!

just received ca-62 in my portal, assuming that's feinstein because i got an email saying i was her principal nom yesterday? otherwise it could be my MOC who i received a nom from as well but non principal

Delaware Senator Coons announced his principal noms for Army, and Navy. I know LBR sent hers out, and Coons’ alternates have received theirs. Has anyone from DE heard from Carper yet?

Anybody know what
Response reposted from your other post:

Hello @88regalo - Feinstein did interviews on December 4th and Padilla sprinkled them throughout the two weeks prior to Christmas. Another poster on here mentioned that they received a message from Padilla's office that their process was closed. As far as we know, no-one has heard yet if they received nominations or not ... if anyone has, please update us.

Assuming you applied for both your MOC and VP noms?!
I think I received a NOM from Padilla?
It reads CA-61, which I am assuming is Padilla because I didn't interview with Feinstein and my congressional district is someone else.
USMA for reference.
