Did that POC drop that to everybody...or just between the two of you....
 
Everyone. It was kind of weird why they were telling us this but they were advocating being 500s.
 
We started the semester with ~80, and now are looking for 45 EAs.

Ouch. That would really hit us hard. There are only 15 of us going up at my det (well actually that's everyone). But most are engineering majors so maybe that'll help...
 
I wonder if they might not see that many cut since it appears their det. has already been downsized from 80 to 45???

but actually in the end that hurts the 45 that are left......assuming that they are/were the top 45...

if CC ranking =
((1-R/C) +.5/C) * 10 when R- ranking...and C= class size

Then a cadet ranked #22 would drop
from a CC ranking score of 7.1325 (22 out of 80)
to a cc ranking score of 5.2222 (22 out of 45)

and that CC ranking is worth 40% of the rack and stack score.....
 
no ea's at this morning's llab. coc says its looking like the will come out around same time as last year, around april 11th

A bunch of board members getting together to watch the Wildcats kick butt over the weekend does not qualify as a board meeting!!!

And the cadre at Kskad's detachment just got tired of being asked when EA's are coming out.....figured tell everybody April 11...and then anything sooner will be good news...
 
Good point ERAU! Romad, glad you clarified the source of your DS's information, that makes me feel alot better. Hopefully we will know something soon!
 
Our CC confirmed the board met this past weekend and we're just waiting on a number from Congress. Didn't specify how long he thought that would take though.
