Hey guys first time poster, long time lurker here. I’m finished with my USMA application, officially medically qualified, and have been in contact with a coach at USMA. He said he would rate me as a recruited athlete on my application, however I’m not sure if that means I get what most people would call a “blue chip”. I’m also taking an official visit very very soon (won’t give exact date), and when we were talking he stated multiple times he could get me a LOA.
I have also received a very long email from USMA stating: “Welcome to the start of a great journey. If you are receiving this email the Office of the Directorate of Intercollegiate Athletics sees you as a potential student-athlete. Congratulations on starting your application process for the United States Military Academy. This application process has a number of steps, but with hard work from you as a candidate, you will complete it without any issues.” And it also states that my admissions officer is MAJ Olatunde.
I would ask the coach this question but he’s a busy guy and I’m trying to take a little initiative instead of annoying him.
GO ARMY!
