Are you ready for some FOOTBALL???!!

"Chapter Two: Hope theory begins with a theological sermon delivered by Tillich (1965) which first pondered the question about hope and its affect on human development. Snyder (2002) opined in his seminal book..."

Paul Tillich reference on SAF!? Wow!

Nice job flieger!

any questions?

Gotta go with the old man in this one.
At 39 he leads his teammates to the Superbowl after not playing in the first four games of the season. ( note both second and third string quarterbacks were injured in those four games)

In 2001 Superbowl game tied 17 to 17 with 1:21 left to go , ball on Patriots 17 John Madden says, "Now with no time out, I think that the Patriots with this field position, you just have to run the clock out, you have to play for overtime now, I don't think you want to force anything here you don't want to do anything stupid because you have no time outs and your backed up".
Tom Brady lead the team down the field for the game winning field goal.
Tom Brady is a Patriot and a Leader.
People around the country have questioned Bill Belichick and Tom Brady's success since then, this team has something to prove, that they are the best.

Go Pats!
As for Maddens quote I think General Anthony Clement McAuliffe summed it up best "Nuts"

My heart is with the Falcons; my head says the Patriots. For anyone other than Eli, Belichick & Brady are almost impossible to beat. Wishing for an interesting game as I have no dog in this fight!

I've gotta say that's probably the greatest comeback in sports history. Never been so proud to be a pats fan. Tom Brady is officially the GOAT

15 years later and 7 Superbowls (5 wins) Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and the New England Patriots played for overtime. After being down 21-3 at the half and scoring 19 points in the final quarter to send Superbowl 51 into overtime, the team went on to win it with a final score of 34-28.
Julian Edelman had a catch in the 4th quarter that was referred to as ridiculous, incredible, and The Edelman Catch. It ranks up there with the David Tyree or Franco Harris catches.

Way to go Pats!

The Edelman Catch

Belichick and Edelman were on Jimmy Fallon last night. Jimmy said he should open a seafood restaurant chain called "The Edelman Catch"!

Who cares who's playing? :)

Thanks again for your hospitality at the SAF/Kinnem Skybox. I apologize for arriving late and then leaving at the end of the third quarter, but the game was turning into a blowout, and a freight hauler had promised to get me as far as Otummwa. I have no idea why Belichek chose to stick with Brady, who was having an off night and was obviously rattled by the Falcon pressure. Anyway, the high point was the halftime show. That Lady Gaga is something, isn't she? Let me know when you figure out what that tattoo on her thigh is all about. Until next year...

Sure. Now I have to go looking for Lady Gaga photos! See ya' next year!

Video-gate, inflate-gate...I guess this one will be Gaga-gate?

As much as I can't stand the Pats, I gotta agree that this was an amazing comeback by Brady.
