To clarify. I uploaded all that info into FAFSA and CSS. But the same week of Dec convening, it dated they uploaded it all. Which was one month earlier than Regular Decision deadline. Basically, last month on day one of boarding my status at the school of choice stated “downloaded” and up until that timeframe there was plenty of correspondence and now it’s “crickets”. Unusual behavior. Everyone in the admissions/financial aid office have been extremely communicative and now....
 
Good luck, AROTC scholarship applicants! As a point of reference on looking for Portal updates, my son received his AROTC Scholarship last year after the 2nd Board, and his notification letter is dated Friday, January 25, 2019. As I recall, his portal updated to show "Winner" that same day, but in the afternoon, rather than in the morning.

Data is 1 year outdated, but should be similar:

UNG is reporting over 7000 applied for the 2018-2019 year with 3000 total scholarships being awarded:

"For the academic year 2018-2019, more than 7,000 high school senior applications for the scholarship were reviewed.

About 3,000 applicants were awarded a scholarship. About 25% of those were 4-year scholarships and 75% were 3-year scholarships."

Or maybe they have a weird combined sense of humour, and just want to delay it to freak us out as much as possible..... I think I'm just going crazy
 
Guys, we need to be patient. Even though the board is finished, cadet command needs to put all of the boarded candidates on the OML. Then they need to determine the winners and then contact the schools and the ROTC department at the school. Once it’s approved by all of that, it then has to get drafted into an order and approved by a general and then finally it gets put on our portals.
It will come, but don’t freak out if it’s not today. The army moves slow guys, get used to it.
