I was boarded during the first board and did not receive an offer. My status still says Boarded/Under Consideration and it has said this since the first board results were released. What do this mean? It hasn’t changed to boarded.

I don’t believe ANYONE has received any type of scholarship on this second AROTC board yet.

At this point, no one has received a scholarship from the second board. There are those speculating because there status has changed to boarded, but nothing is official until your status changes to Winner. If you are asking if any nursing applicants have changed to Boarded, I can only speak to the one I know about and to this point, she has not.

Funny thing is I've tried to contact them, but I don't get responses very quickly. I have yet to hear the reasoning if I were not put into this second round, as I was told I was set to hear something from the second board. My acceptance to a school of mine may want to know if I got the scholarship on file during the admissions process, so it'll be super disappointing if I were not even considered this board.

It might be a simple as they couldn't get through all applications in the stack. It is first in first out.

If you’re asking me I don’t think your status changing to boarded means you’re going to win a scholarship. It just means your packet has been boarded and placed on the OML. If you were already boarded last board your packet is already on the OML.

I have not yet been boarded.

Everyone gets boarded and placed on the OML. It’s a matter of actually being high enough on the OML to win a scholarship. I am 98% sure that everyone who had their application in by the deadline for this board will be boarded for the second board.

I know I shouldn't worry, but it is troublesome not being moved to boarded. It just feels like I've already been passed over on the second board. Hopefully we get results this week.

Why would there have been a push of applications this board (with their extensions and whatnot) if they were just considering "first in, first out?"
