    1. Do the DS/cadres read Cadet mail/letters?
    2. Would the instructors be allowed to read the mail if everything is written on plain white paper without decoration?
    3. Where do the students keep their mail received during BCT?

Don't recall DD saying that the cadre read our letters, but in her case, she got them all after BCT so I can't help there. By using the search function, you will find several recommendations, write2them, etc. Suggest plain envelope, patriotic stamp if available, & # the envelopes so they can be read in order if delivered all at once. Hard to believe that "snail mail" would mean so much to the "connected" generation, but they do! Hang on for a wild ride!
